About Us

Capicú (kah-pee-KOO):  Where the winning hand can be played on either end of the layout of Puerto Rican dominoes. 

We named our band Capicu after the rich heritage of a game played throughout the Caribbean. Each Caribbean island has its own unique domino rules and traditions; however, it remains an activity around which community and relationships are built and sustained.  Dominoes are played in all circles in Puerto Rican society by people of all ages. It is primarily known as a family game since it is learned by children from their fathers, uncles and grandfathers. 

Four friends came together to fulfill a shared dream of crafting unique hand-rolled cigars in the charming town of Jupiter, Florida, inspired by one member’s Puerto Rican heritage, while proudly standing as a veteran-owned company dedicated to quality and tradition.  Capicu Cigars is proud to hand-roll our premium "La Estrada" product in the very heart of Jupiter, Florida.
